Searching for some brightness

A chilly morning and we're warned of snow. My nephew posted on facebook that it was snowing in Solihull (well, it would!) but it didn't make it up here.

I bought some ridiculously overpriced daffodils last Saturday in Waitrose and they have taken until today to show their yellow blooms. I tried to make the most of the morning sunshine through the window.. We need a bit of brightness.
