Bright Spark

Went into town (Manchester) to pick Sian up from a fashion event at Harvey Nichols, so got there a few minutes early and took a sneaky shot of the big wheel in Exchange Square.

I like the way the flare from the lamp makes it look like sparks are coming off the wheel - kinda adds to the sense of movement.

One day I'll treat myself to a decent lens that doesn't show so much perspective distortion at it's wide end. :-(

Edit: @jrc313 - That's coz I spent ages messing around with it in Elements trying to make it less obvious!
