Nothing for ages ...

and then 2 come along at once.

Took at quick trip at at lunch with jrc313 hoping to try out my new filter. However, as I had guessed anyway, a 10 stop ND filter and an 8 second exposure of a plane coming in to land = photo of an empty sky!

Plan B was the trusty star filter yet again (for the third Blip in a row!) A bit of Photoshop jiggery pokery to merge 2 images and I end up with this. Hopefully jrc313 will post his shot soon from the same trip ... however whilst I had my back to the plane coming in over my shoulder, shooting directly into the sun (how my eyes hurt), he took the more sensible option and probably got a perfectly focused, exposed and composed photo as a result!
