Autum Winter Spring

A fine cold and frosty morning for a walk in the woods, near St Andrews.

The sun wasn't getting to this bit so it was still frosty about midday. The Autumn leaves and dead ferns stopped decomposing for a while as the hoar frost preserved them in Winter. Evergreen ivy poking through thinking it's Spring.

Thought the black and white treatment might pull everything together to create an abstract piece..of something.
