Eucalyptus phoenix

Some recent wind damage and felling has exposed this line of eucalyptus trees which we just realised today have their origin in an ancient fallen tree - hence their serried appearance. I thought it a hopeful sign, as several large trees fell victim to the storms this winter and have left gaps in Kilmun Arboretum.
