Experimenting
See that small brown dish in the foreground? That dish contains two aubergines - perfectly normal, medium-sized aubergines. This is what happens when you roast them under a hot grill till the skin is charred and cracked and the whole thing has collapsed - a necessary procedure to make the "burned aubergine" required for the rather delicious dish I made this afternoon instead of going for a walk in the downpour.
It's come to a pretty pass when I have to arrange still life compositions for my blip ...
