Flooding....

Birthday fun...a stroll round the town then off to the families for a spot of fun. We took the normal route which goes through a flood area, great fun if you know what you're doing. The road is quite low and floods a lot, it was awash and some people are just clueless about how to drive through it.

I stopped and took some shots and then it was onto the house for birthday cake!

As the sun was setting I just had to get out by StIves to the flood planes, my most excellent nephew drove me (learning to drive) and we spent some time scrambling up and down banks getting views...

Now for food and the usual silliness....most wonderful!
