I took his advice

Was in two minds whether to ask Rich's advice about pruning the large beautiful old blackcurrant bush that I've spent the last three days clearing of a thick smothering of honeysuckle. But I did, after all, he's a gardener by profession. I knew what he'd say, and sure enough, he said, cut it back to here, here and here. So I did, reluctantly, but I know he's right.

Being married to a gardener is really good, but the best must be a husband who is a chef and a gardener.
