The Secret Garden

was one of my favourite books as a child, and now I'm in a garden that I'm gradually restoring and it has all the mystery and joy of the book - plus a lot of sweat. What I uncovered today were dead roses smothered by the honeysuckle, and small current bushes still alive but needing hard pruning.
