It's a load of cobblers!

Well, cobbles anyway. I am really glad it's Friday. It feels like it's been the longest week ever. I'm going to deliberately set my alarm to go off at my usual 5am tomorrow morning just so I can enjoy switching it off and snuggling down again for another three and a half hours!
I have already written a note and taped it to the inside of the front door saying 'GO BACK TO BED, YOU DAFT BAT' just in case I forget myself and end up downstairs really early.

Anyway, I went to the office today for a change as I planned on getting a new pot. I didn't bother doing that in the end as I reckon my old one will survive! Thank you FionaGo for making me persevere!

McDonalds was my first stop as usual on the way up to the office. Nothing to report there. I got my tea and went straight up to the council house to shiver on the doorstep rather than sit in McD's. I wasn't waiting long before Eric in the Custodial Team unlocked the door. I was only there half an hour when another four people arrived in the office early. I was quite shocked! Apparently lots of people have started coming in on Fridays as it's quieter. I am not sure how that works. Maybe it's quieter because I'm definitely not in! Ha!

As it happened, it was a very busy day indeed. I wasn't too busy to get my fried egg toastie for breakfast, pizza, crisps and Toffee Crisp for lunch and a bag of wine gums as a mid morning snack. I did get out for half an hour and sat in the middle of Mell Square for a people/pigeon watching session. I don't often do collages but I thought these people and the very tame pigeon which pecked at my boot laces went rather well together.

I have nothing else to add today. I am now watching a very sick film which will give me horrible nightmares - Saw. I have been lucky enough to miss it up until now.
