Stories with Grandma

Ed and Orla are off to Yorkshire for the weekend. We were all supposed to be going, with Ed and I participating in Rick's 40th birthday celebrations tomorrow, but for various reasons I decided to stay here with Conor. So tomorrow Ed will be out with his friends and Orla is spending the day with Grandma and Grandad. She was very excited about her trip and was allowed to stay up late this evening and read stories with Grandma whilst Daddy and Grandad went to the pub.

This morning in the car she told me that God made the world in 7 days. They have obviously started learning Bible stories at school. As usual though, Orla is preoccupied with the details: "Mum, which day did God make curtains, and doors?".
