Passing the days for 40 years

This is a 40 year calendar paper weight which I got from my Granddad, I think he might have even made the wooded plinth that the calendar part sits in.

It works by aligning the month with the appropriate year and then the days and dates align, much like the stars. It's now 155 days to go to my trip to Iceland, not that I'm counting the days down :)

I've got an exciting day planned for tomorrow, which hopefully I'll be able to share with you on blip tomorrow. Now I've got things to do before tomorrow.
