Shortbread lesson

We had a lovely morning with Saori, Reona and Erena. Saori had asked me to teach her how to bake shortbread, so here she is baking, and looking amazing, while the three little ones incredibly amused themselves for the whole "lesson". After shortbread we all sat down for lunch together. Saori and I had a girl on each lap while Jacob took the highchair. Reona sat patiently with me, eagerly and neatly eating her lunch and intently watching me take my mouthfuls. I was really sad to say goodbye to them all, but very excited when Saori said she was looking forward to visiting in summer and meeting the new baby!
Jacob was so exhausted when they left that he actually fell asleep sitting up in his cot.
We had a quick walk around the back field before coming in for dinner and a very excited catch up play with Stephan.
