Walking

Stephan was away this week so Jacob and I started our day snuggling in bed watching postman pat and the snowman, eating cornflakes and grapes. Although we could do this when Stephan is here (and often do), it seems more of a treat if we don't have to feel guilty watching him get ready for work! The added bonus of Henny being at Maureen's meant we didn't have to worry about getting up at all.
A bus trip to John Lewis to look at carpets, baking bread, and a lovely trip to the Roamin Nose with Maureen and George, followed by a long walk and play in the park completed a good day.
Jacob got very upset getting out the bath and even more upset that his daddy wasn't waiting in his room. A quick FaceTime helped until we had to say goodbye and then there were more tears. He will be delighted when Stephan gets him up tomorrow morning.
