The Sky

I began a new painting today, of Elliot.

And I cried today for my friend and one of her dogs. Dax the German Shepherd had to be put to sleep yesterday. My friend rescued her from a puppy farm in Wales where she'd spent the first three years of her life producing litters of puppies. My friend saved her and put an end to her suffering. She gave Dax a wonderful home where she was loved and cared for.

I recognise that my tears were of a greater depth. I was crying for all animals that man abuses.
