St. Bartholomew's Church

Hurrah. At long last a day with no rain and no wind to speak of. Everywhere is still sodden, but maybe the weather is moving in the right direction. My walk took me past the village church, which was caught by the last rays of the sun. This Victorian church dates from 1849, although it is thought there has been a church on this site for over 1000 years.
