The Rock Pipit
After a morning spent cleaning, I went to Zumba, back home for a shower and lunch, and then I went out with Louis to meet Majicmoments.
We met on the Undercliff coastal path and walked to Rottingdean where we went to a lovely little cafe that I've been wanting to try, called Beyond Design. It has an eclectic mix of furniture, art, coffee and cakes, and is like stepping back in time with 1920's music playing. The best part is that they're dog friendly, so Louis can come in too!
There are plenty of blip opportunities inside this little cafe, but for today my blip is of a little Rock Pipit taken on the beach. They breed around the coast of the UK where there are rocky beaches, and they forage for food on the beach. I see them quite often but they're very difficult to get a clear shot of as they're quite small, and they move around very quickly. This was taken on full zoom, in quite low light, so I'm pleased with the result.
After our drink and a chat, I headed home and Azmi went for a walk in the village, so I'll be interested to see what he found to blip. I'm sat in front of the fire, and Louis is curled up in his bed - it's very cosy, but I'll go and prepare the dinner shortly. Hope you've had a good day!
