Cake

Al made a cake after school. It was still warm when he put the icing on and served it. I didn't have any but Chris and Betsy said it was delicious. Apple, sultanas, honey and dark chocolate - it certainly smelled great.

I made some flapjacks as well. I used to make them for the children's lunch boxes when they were both really fussy waters and ate hardly anything. Chris also likes to eat them after long runs when he's training. I must have made 10,000 in my time , I could make them in my sleep.

My friend Rachel is back home after a year and a half living in Paris. It was so lovely to see her.
