Quality of Life

Betsy was back at school today, but Al had a weird day; back to EH but not Stanley, but with swimming at 415.

Betsy dragged her feet this morning and when her friend called for her, she had a downturned mouth too. The torrential rain didn't help.

The rain only got worse and Chris said his run was like running through a car wash. He enjoyed it so much he ran an extra mile but was so wet thst 13 hours later his shoes were still damp. I dropped Al, went to the supermarket, sorted some washing and by the time I went for my run the rain had stopped and the sun was brilliant.

Al spent his free afternoon watching Lemony Snicket and playing on the Wii.

After his swimming lesson I saw they were selling swimming hats that were not rubber. I ping Al into his swimming hat every week and he always complains and has a big red ring on his head afterwards. I've looked everywhere for one that isn't rubber but no luck so I was pleased to find it.

He tried it on and was impressed to realise that not all swimming hats are agonising torture. He loves swimming even with the severe head pain so I expect he will really enjoy it now!

After he had gone to bed Betsy, Chris and I watched Sherlock.
