Then there was one!

Busy day in the garden. Every year I have to cut these cactus down as they just keep growing, I always leave one, then by some miracle it grows babies and then we start again. The garden centre had these lovely pots of chrysanthamums and the purple one is called thunbergia. They have all added a splash of colour to the garden.

If you have been following the saga of my AGM and the fact that I was deposed as President because of the votes of two of the English people on the community, the saga continues. Last night was the wedding of Dennis and Glenys (cake pictures) at the party where the two couples in question, they made a point of ignoring Roy and I, so what did I do. I went up to them and thanked them for voting me out as my life was now stress free, and I could enjoy uninterrupted time with my husband. I also said that I hoped they would enjoy the regime under the new President. You should have seen the looks on their faces, I think they thought I was spoiling for a fight, they both asked if we could remain friends, I very nearly said 'I didn't realise we where friends to begin with' but I thought better of it. I was then informed that I had done a really good job in my two years as President. That done I had a few glasses of bubbly, Roy and I left the party early as the music was so loud that we couldn't speak to one another, got home and watched the recording of 'Strictly Come Dancing' and why is Joe Calzagi still there?
