Iris

Today, the sun shone until mid afternoon. It was a morning of domestic tasks, exploring the loft to identify a leak which is beginning to show itself in the hall (no worthwhile blip opps found there, although I followed advice and took my camera with me - a shot from the roof?). Then off to the bank for some prolonged business which held up the queue and then we had a coffee, en route to rescue our car (borrowed yesterday by daughter, who phoned to say she had forgotten to return it before work, that it was parked in a restricted area and had to be picked up no later than 1. Then I went walking in Hermitage and up Blackford Hill, playing with the camera. The walk was bracing and very enjoyable, but unfortunately there were some marks on the lens (not noticed at the time) which eliminated those shots I liked. Back home, lenses cleaned and a shot of some iris which we bought to freshen and brighten things with Christmas packed away.
