Government offices were closed.
Theater closed.
No mail.
No garbage collected.
Governor advised people to stay off the roads.

I've been thinking about how you can show how cold -40F and blowing snow feels without actually getting frostbite and it's too hard, but this is what it looks like; a deserted road, almost no visibility, a bit of fire hydrant above the snow and the shape of a mailbox. And behind the camera; me. Wearing 3 layers of tops, 3 layers of pants, one big coat, 2 scarves, 2 pairs of socks, one pair of winterboots, 3 hoods and 2 pairs of gloves.

I lasted 15 minutes.
