Januaryesque

So, both this morning's meetings went okay-ish. I did discover that one of my colleagues is 'with child' (not a huge surprise really) and that someone else has left the firm (also not a huge surprise). And yet....it's odd how things can be both a surprise and and not a surprise at the same time.
Innit?
Some gloriously Januaryesque weather to contend with today: chill hitch hiking in on the breeze, grey precipitation, scattered shards of sunshine…
No lunch today. And then, as if that wasn't enough (and of course it wasn't), I had this odd, gnawing sensation in my stomach all afternoon… oh hang on...!
