Creation

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1

I was looking for a Bible verse for today, to go with a wintry scene in Iceland, and I came across this verse, which I am sure we have all read at one point in another, probably when sitting down thinking we will start reading the Bible from the beginning to the end...

I thought to myself why not start at the beginning for today's verse!! It is when I see scenes of beautiful nature like these here in Iceland that it is impossible to deny that there was and is a Creator behind all this. There is no way that this could all be an accident that just happened. God is the Almighty, the Creator of everything. His creation reflects Him, His power, His beauty, His creativity.

This is not something that should be taken lightly as God created you, and God created me. That is an awesome thought...
