A month in the life ...

Can't believe that it's been a month since we arrived in San Antonio.

So far we have managed ...

Get a hire car
Find our apartment
Buy food
Get basic utilities set up
Jill started work
Get a bank account
Get Jill a SS number
Buy a car
Dent the car
Get insurance
Find our way around town
Met some locals
First Spurs game
First Rampage game
Big Lous Pizza
Had an amazing festive period

Today we climbed enchanted rock before spending much of the afternoon sampling delicacies in Fredericksburg (notably flavored peanut butter, fruit infused balsamic vinegars and the hottest salsas and condiments in Texas).

Jill also managed to misjudge the height of the kirb and crashed our lovely new car into it, denting/wrecking the bumper. So we will need to buy some tape tomorrow!

In the evening we hit the beautifully lit and vibrant River walk taking in the sounds, sights, eats and cultures. We also got asked if we were Australian : )
