Back Blip #1 - Sellaronda

A rather long day out on the classic Sellaronda ski tour, but I am not complaining!

4 mountain passes and about 26 km's of skiing. Except our day was more like 30 km's with a couple extra add on's.

It snowed pretty much the entire day with the snow nearly over the boot on the sides of the trails. I almost didn't make it over the final pass to finish the tour... I made a wrong turn after lunch at Jimmie's and started back the wrong way off Passo Gardena... haha It was that gray and snowy that I got completed disoriented. Anyway, that was probably the best run of the day with great powder!! What an adventure! The day ended in near complete darkness and wind, fog and snow off the top of Sella which was a miracle we found the last trail to get down. haha! What an adventure!
