Rosengarten and Vajolet

Skied Ciampede above Vigo di Fassa. Skiing again - finally!!! An easy restart to the ski season. High winds kept a lot of the other ski areas closed.

Catinaccio (Rosengarten) along the left, Torri del Vajolet in the center. Rifugio Re Albert hidden behind Catinaccio at the base of the towers.

All my winter and summer activities come together in this shot - skiing, biking, hiking, climbing... though I've never climbed here and alas a long lost sporting attempt.
