Another busy afternoon!!!

A productive afternoon, even though I’ve picked up B’s bugs. I started sneezing, coughing and developed a sore throat last night!! I just hope it doesn’t last as long as B’s, because he is still coughing away after 3 weeks!!

Still if I take the capsules and convince myself I’m OK, I will be OK!!

R rang this morning whilst she was on the train going home. I got a quick update on their trip to Everest base camp, which supplemented the details gained from her back blips from the two week period.

R & Q had some problems, but have recovered by now. It was good to hear her voice and know that they are all safely back!!

I have had an afternoon of distraction to save feeling sorry for myself. I’ve shortened 3 pair of shorts and a pair of walking trousers for B in preparation for our trip next month!!

I’ve also put in a patch and sewn the enormous tear in B’s “gardening / dirty work” jeans. They have only just been relegated to this status and no way are they going in the bin, for a brand new pair to be messed up doing dirty work!!

B tore them whilst fitting a draught / crap excluder on the bottom of the garage door. The excluder works well as we are no longer ankle deep in dried leaves every time it blows a gale (we’ve had enough high winds to test its efficiency over the last two weeks)!!
