De Christmassing

So today, all the decorations came down. The trees are now residing out the front, ready for the council to collect and shred somewhere.

Thank goodness the weather was dry today - so we headed to the waterlogged common for a muddy game of footy and a chance to blow out the cobwebs. The common looked quite bleak today. Even the birds hid.

Playing with my camera, I enjoyed the holly and the bokeh, haven't got it perfect but I like the effect I am getting.

Back to work tomorrow for the husband and back to normality (to be fair, I am quite looking forwards to it!)
