Calm Between Storms

After a morning working in the garden, I headed out with friends for a walk along the coast road, to see the damage caused by the storm of yesterday. We walked the beaches, full of seaweed mingled with loads of plastic debris, it makes you realise how polluted the oceans with this stuff! We saw an otter swimming just off the headland undeterred by the swell. The sun appeared in the late afternoon and in the shelter of the cove the sea was calm and the light quite stunning. Conveniently finished the walk at the pub for hot soup and chips, the latter has to be done occasionally!!
