The man who didnt want a dog

For years, my sons begged to get a dog. One son, on his Christmas list wrote, "dog or nothing." My husband imagined all kinds of horrible things a dog would do to house and home. Then, a couple of years ago when I was confronting an empty nest, I applied the pressure.... I wanted a dog. My husband relented and Desi came to live with us. Slowly but surely Desi has worked his way into Dan's heart. Lately, I've been catching the two of them together... Man and dog.
