String theory.

This is a shot of a fiddle we inherited along with this from Mrs Rex's side of the family. Neither of us can play and it would be impossible with this fiddle (even if we could play) as you will no doubt have noticed, at the very least, a missing string.

It is, however, a reminder of the times past when you made your own entertainment and music at celebrations such as Hogmanay. Most folk used to get by without the need to huddle together in their thousands at another 'unique' event and tweet their attendance at it to an indifferent world.

Perhaps some people might say I don't have enough strings to my bow. They may well be right, but at least I won't be tweeting them about it.
