Bit of a tall story

This morning I told the kids it was international no gadget day today and after a bit of face pulling they actually believed me. Hahaha, bad mum. Then Tess' pal came round late on and told her she had been on gadgets all day and her parents knew nothing about it. Tess still believed me, although she got some more face pulling in first. I relented at 6.45pm and said that international no gadget day ended at 7pm; she waited the full 15 mins sitting beside her gadget, then as soon as it was 7pm she grabbed it, as did Sam once he'd finished watching his hero, David Attenborough, having a whale of a time in the natural history museum on TV. Funnily enough, Dave was not impressed with the no gadget day situation.
