Pointy feets

DDW's January Challenge Day 4 : Scratchy

Sigyn the inquisitive has a really bad habit, one which she has always had, and one which I have failed to train out of her. Her preferred method of greeting is to poke people with her big sharp pointy feet. She either does it by jumping up, or by just striking out at you with a paw. I have no idea what the genetic mutation in her claws is, but they are made of the hardest stuff in the world and it can be bloody painful when she rakes them across even clothed skin. She has perfected the art of being scratchy.

In other news, the beautiful HV flew south this morning. At the moment neither of us have any really firm idea when she will be able to come home. Its all because of work commitments, and we are both hoping she will be allowed to work from home. Once again our fingers are crossed. I already miss her terribly. The house is not a home without her here.
