Today's the day ........................... to go in search of Wordsworth

June is quite an amazing person.

She's Chinese - but her command of the English language is pretty comprehensive. She understands any sort of in-joke you care to test her with - and she has a great sense of humour. She's a huge fan of Downton Abbey which has influenced some of her vocabulary. For example, she may ask you if the pub you are about to go into - serves luncheon?

She knows a lot about the English romantic poets - particularly Wordsworth - because she has studied them back in China. She was keen to visit his home at Dove Cottage in Grasmere while she was in the Lake District. We were happy to oblige.

And apart from all that she's completely mad - in a good sort of way ......................
