Walk In The Light

"But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin" 1 John 1:7

So, today I have been continuing to think about how to honour God. I resigned from my job a couple of weeks ago and I heard yesterday that when I get back from my week's annual leave I only have 3 weeks left to work. I had asked if my notice period could be shortened because of the situation I was in, and to my surprise, this request was honoured beyond my expectations.

Despite the hard time that I have had, I want to honour God in all that I do. So I have been thinking about how I can do that in the time I have left. The verse above was the verse of the day on my phone, and to me it speaks of how to honour God. To walk in the light, to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, to model myself on Jesus, to do the things He would have done. This will bring people together.
