Give generously

"Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to." Deuteronomy 15:10

I like this verse. I think it speaks of nursing, to give generously of yourself to others, and to do so willingly. Some of the jobs we get to do are not pleasant and are not for the faint hearted, yet we are called to do them to the best of our ability. I promised my Mum before she died that I would always be the best nurse that I can be and this is what I strive for. I want to progress and everyday be better than yesterday.
