End the Night in Music
Today was a very long day. Not sure if it was because it was Friday or what, but it was very very long.
There's this lovely little white doggy at work. She's a stray. I've been trying for weeks to get her to come to me. A very timid little lady. She looks as though she's been dumped because she had had puppies when we first started seeing her. Today I finally got her to come up to me. She even came running happily towards me when she saw me the second time for some pets and loves. She is well-trained, too. She sits, she stays, she lays down and she even gives hugs. I was so saddened that someone got her, took the time to train her and then left her. She is pretty hungry too. Poor girl. I can only hope that perhaps her family is actually looking for her (although it's been several months, so I don't see that being likely).
Needless to say, I am taking her home once I get a hold of her again. I bought a collar and leash on my lunch break in hopes to see her again today. She didn't come back. We're going tomorrow to see if she's there around the same time. She'll be getting a spaying and a check up once we do get her and hopefully we can find her a good home where she'll be loved.
Got home, went grocery shopping which we haven't done in nearly a month. Our cupboards were extremely bare. I hadn't been cooking anything on account of that.
I also got a pygmy chameleon and an albino fat tailed gecko doodle done today. Both in one day. That's a record. I even started the bearded dragon and plans for Valentine's day stickers. I hope the Valentine's day stickers do better than the Christmas themed ones did! :) They are going to be very cute.
But now--it's time for sleep. Tomorrow we are going to take down our tree and I have begun plans to declutter our home and start some early spring cleaning. Maybe a garage sale is in order.
