Ice cream

Definitely a day for ice cream today! Apparently it got up past 45 degrees this afternoon and the hot wind didn't help. It was a bit like being in a fan forced oven! M caught one fish, a Redfin apparently. We did some swimming but ended up at the kiosk where we had a couple of ice creams in the air conditioning. They were a lifesaver! T conned Granddad into buying her a second cone, and since he's never one to say no to ice cream, they both had one. People were coming in while we sat there buying bags of ice for their eskies. As fast as they filled the freezers up, they emptied again.

Later after plenty of dips into the water, when it cooled off, we took the kayak out, where M did some fishing and I finished my Baldacci book. Bliss!
