Early start

Before I take down the Christmas decs, I decided to make some more, 3 cushions. I bought some material and cut up the patterns, then appliqued them and some ribbon onto calico. I have more than enough pieces to make about 12 more cushions, many more than I need, Christmas fairs or presents? Time will tell.
Two local towns visited, a few provisions and home to discover that neighbour had arranged to have walnut tree felled which had uprooted in storm and was leaning on a pine tree. Luckily we "helped" the tree surgeons by taking some wood, he offered.
Fish and chips and a beer in local pub rounded off the day.
