Linlithgow Palace in Winter.

While we have, I believe, got off relatively lightly in the current wind & rain assault, it has been a particularly dreich day. I suspect we all now know why a low pressure zone is called a "depression"!
More or less purely to get out of the house for a while, MaggieD and I took a drive over to Linlithgow. The loch-side path was all but deserted of people, just a few water fowl hanging around in case a stale slice or two of bread was on offer.
The palace looked rather forbidding and dark through the trees but I have adjusted the exposure slightly to make the old stone-work stand out better.
Hope you all manage to keep warm and dry until all this blows over!
