Sweet Dreams

New years eve!

I didn't think we would have any plans as we haven't done anything on New Years Eve, bar watching telly in our pajamas, since Chickpea was born. We made some last minute plans with SDB and her family, though, and had a lovely time! These two cuties didn't make it to midnight but Monkey did! He was excited by the fireworks on the telly and kept shouting "HAPPY NEW YEAR" with his hands in the air. I think his favourite bit was singing Auld Lang Syne as it was such a novelty having all of us adults singing and holding hands. We also played a party game (Catchphrase Consequence, one I've never played before), ate party snacks, pudding and even roasted chesnuts and, of course, wine! What a wonderful way to ring in the new year!

I love that last year's New Years Eve pic is also sleeping children... we know how to party.
