The return of Toulouse Lautrec...

This is my nephew, Jamie. He is still attempting to walk at the brave old age of 17 months. He tries very hard and to compensate, instead of crawling, he wanders around on his knees, has a little practice walk, then back down on the knees if it is too much for him.

I tried put big peoples shoes under his knees for this pic, he wouldn't let me! Hence the title!

Last week he had a little operation on his ears to insert grommets. The very day after the operation, he stood up and took 10 steps. He still practices now and then.

Behind him you can see one of his favourite toys and a constant mesmorising source of amusement - the door. Almost every door in the house is opened and closed several times.

A special kid... and well balanced too! (Well, he is now!)
