Princess slippers

It is incredibly special to be one of two daughters and to have two daughters of our own. Today we drove through the rain to a warm welcome of the home where I grew up and first experienced the wonder of Christmas myself and the open arms of my wonderful mother, spectacular sister, dear dad and brilliant brother in law (almost officially). Father Christmas had also visited here and left full stockings and gifts. The clear winner, at least for the moment, were the pink, fluffy, sparkling slippers and E's strut, especially when she hitched up her Princess 'fia dress to kick a football. Charming. This was closely followed by A copying Auntie Anna's "wow!" And the most delicious fillet of beef enjoyed by the grown ups.
