Who needs a takeaway?

One of our New Year goals is to save as much mmoney as possible, so one of the first things to go had to be our weekly indian takeaway. At £25 a go, it's a fair wedge of money to be chucking away, especially when making your own curry isn't all that hard. Tonight's dinner was Vietnamese Yellow Coconut Chicken, the recipe is in the slow cooker curry book I got for Christmas. It ticked all the boxes - yummy, easy to put together, mild and child friendly. I served it with plain boiled rice, broccoli and cauliflower florets and wilted spinach, watercress and rocket. Even my usually fussy oldest child said "Thank you for the awesome dinner"!
