The Flower of Nice
We had a wet walk along the Promenade de Paillon today from one end to the other - just under 1km.
One of the flower beds had been planted up with carnations of different colours but the red ones being most prominent.
The carnation is the flower of Nice but those of you who have watched Jean De Florette will understand when I say I named it Ugolin's garden.
We fly home tomorrow morning so I am hoping we arrive in Liverpool before the forecast stormy weather.
