Happy New Year

So, at midnight we were still at the restaurant although at this point onto coffee and petit fours.

Just before the New Year arrived the restaurant gave everyone a champagne flute and then on the strike of midnight opened a very large bottle of Tattinger champagne (a jeroboam we think) and poured everyone a glass.

It was a very civilised way to end one year and start the next.
