no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!

So a new year and a promise of a family walk - regardless of the howling wind and driving rain! The car basically had to cross rivers to get to the lake but we made it, walked for an hour or so, got wet, chattered about life and made it back to the car as the sun went down. Taking pictures was nigh on impossible and this one of Sienna is straight from my camera - foggy and wet, not ideal.

Still we all got out and even enjoyed it and if we can take that forward in 2014 it will be a good thing. Also good to stop for tea at friends and then come home to a fire, freshly baked brownies and Sherlock. Life's small pleasures!
