Our New Year's Eve!

So the end of the year has arrived - it's been one of ups and downs, the first without my dad which has been hard. A stressful year at work, which isn't going to change any time soon. But there have been some great times too - holiday memories from Disneyland Paris and Cap Salou, my little girl growing up into a kind, considerate, funny and clever individual and doing really well at school.

Had an early escape from work, did some birthday present wrapping and tidying, and settled down for a night in with my lovely family. We had a nice meal and then played 'real' Monopoly with Lottie for the first time. We put her in charge of the bank and she did quite well although we had to cut the game short as it got too late. Gary Barlow helped us to see the New Year in.

Finally, thank you so much for all your lovely comments over the last couple of days - it makes me realise I would miss blip too much!
