Happy New Year

For Hogmanay we went out for a meal. It was a 'taster' menu and the restaurant and the food were excellent. And we met some lovely people there.
Toady we again ventured out for a meal at our favourite Indian restaurant near the Art Galleries. We nearly stayed in as the rain has been incessant and heavy most of the day: main roads as well as minor ones have suffered from flooding.

The rather shaken photograph (shaken because it was dark, cold and pouring with rain (I know, no excuse!!)) show the Art Galleries reflected in the rain on the road, as well as puddles and the the reflection of a passing vehicle.

A day to forget - with the exception of the meal which was as good as ever.
